I am a Chartered Accountant and strategic finance leader with nearly 20 years’ experience helping ambitious, growth-focused businesses scale with clarity, control, and commercial focus.
I began my career in professional practice with Mazars and Grant Thornton, building strong foundations in governance, financial control, audit, and risk management before moving into industry.
I then spent over 14 years at Bauer Media Group, holding CFO and senior finance roles across international divisions. During this time, I built substantial experience operating across European territories including the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Portugal, Slovakia, and Poland. Working in complex, multi-market environments gave me deep expertise in navigating cross-border operations, differing regulatory frameworks, and diverse commercial models.
I scaled Bauer’s Radio business from a three-market operation into a nine-market European platform, supporting more than 20 acquisitions and leading large, multi-country finance teams through periods of significant growth and integration.
Alongside acquisitive growth, I partnered in building and scaling a new enterprise revenue stream spanning competitions, music publishing, offers, bingo, and online dating. Competitions became the standout success: a highly cash-generative, repeatable model that drove significant organic growth, expanded successfully across multiple markets, and became a significant revenue stream within the division.
I also co-led the largest transformation in Bauer’s 150-year history as CFO, Group Transformation. This included delivering enhanced governance frameworks, major systems implementations, operating model redesign, and cost transparency programmes to create a scalable platform for future growth.
Most recently, as CFO of International Digital Publishing, I helped build the financial and governance architecture required for scalable digital growth while supporting the development of an AI-first publishing platform.
